president Florentino Perez has tested negative for Covid-19 in the last 48 hours.

The 73-year-old businessman contracted Coronavirus in early February, during which time he quarantined his home. Despite concerns about his health, Real Madrid confirmed on Twitter that the club president's  Covid-19 test had been ruled out and that he had recovered from the illness.

Perez is expected to return to his office this week, but Real Madrid have confirmed that he will not travel to Italy with the club for the Champions League clash with Atalanta.

Real Madrid will travel to Bergamo to face Atalanta, while Zidane's team is facing an injury crisis.

Karim Benzema is the latest player to be added to Real Madrid's long list of injured players.
