"I have said to my players I don't want to see anyone speaking to them before the game. If they want to speak and catch up, they can do that after the game but before the game." said Rooney.

Derby County

manager,

Waine Rooney

, has asked the squad not to talk to their former teammates,

Richard Keogh

and

Duane Holmes

, and focus on the match.

Keogh was injured in a car crash in  2019 and got out of action for the rest of the season. His contract was later terminated by the club due to gross misconduct for which Derby had to pay a £2m compensation because it was unfairly done.

Both Holmes and Keogh joined

Huddersfield

in January and are going to face their former side on Tuesday night.

Rooney, however, has forbidden his side from talking to their former teammates and said:

"I am sure for Richard Keogh and Duane Holmes they are two players who will be coming back and focusing on their jobs for Huddersfield.

"I have said to my players I don't want to see anyone speaking to them before the game. If they want to speak and catch up, they can do that after the game but before the game, we have to focus on our jobs.

"We have to focus on ourselves, and that's it. After the game they can talk about what they want, but before the game it is important we keep our attention and focus."

Huddersfield have won their last match with a 4-1 result and have gained 36 points so far standing in 18th place of the Champions League table.

Derby County also stand in 19th with only 2 points gained less than the rival.
