Its time to take action against social injustice - Dunn

USA Women's star believes that it is time to take action against social injustices.

Crystal Dunn believes that now that the US women's national team has decided to stop taking a knee before the matches, it is time to take action.

The World Cup champions, along with other athletes around the world, decided to take a knee before the start of their games in support of social justice after the death of George Floyd. However, the US national team players decided to stop. Dan, one of America's most active players in the fight against racial injustice, confirmed that their team had concluded that the time for protest is over and it is time for action.

"Those that were collectively kneeling felt like we were kneeling to bring about attention to police brutality and systemic racism,"

Crystal Dunn said.

"But I think we decided that moving forward we no longer feel the need to kneel because we are doing the work behind the scenes.

"We never felt we were going to kneel forever, so there was always going to be a time that we felt it was time to stand.

"I think we're all proud that we are doing the work behind the scenes and it was just a game that we felt we were ready to move into the next phase and just continuously fight for change."
