The Liverpool captain has been added to the long list of injured players.
boss Jurgen Klopp has game an update on Jordan Henderson's injury following his side's 2-0 defeat to Everton.
The England midfielder suffered an injury in the first half of the game against Abdoulaye Doucoure and initially tried to stay on the pitch but was later replaced by Nat Phillips. He was trying to get the ball forward from the defensive line when he had a collision with Doucoure and fell to the ground. After consulting with the medical staff, Henderson returned to the field but was unable to continue playing shortly afterwards. Now Klopp claimed that his injury was not good and that he would probably be out of action for some time.

"Groin, adductor region, so it’s not good.
“We don’t know exactly, it’s the groin, adductor region, the rest we will know tomorrow.”
Klopp added in his press conferance:
"Nobody in the medical department was positive about it. But we have to wait for the scan tomorrow."
