Juric nets penalty hat-trick as Adelaide United wins over the Mariners

Adelaide United came from behind to win their Friday clash against Central Coast Mariners with a 3-2 result.

scored a spot-kick in the 34th minute. The league leaders started the second half with dominance and put themselves ahead in the 63rd minute by

Alou Kuol

's strike. However, the Mariners managed to come back from behind to secure a 3-2 win as Juric converted two more penalties in the 70th and 85th minutes of the game. In a post-match interview, Adelaide United boss

Carl Veart

said he hopes this victory will give his side more confidence.

"It was a very strange game, wasn't it?"

he said.

"The win will help that confidence, grow the team a little bit more."
