Sunning explores different paths to solve Inter’s financial problems
According to Milan-based newspaper, Corriere della Sera, Inter’s owners are negotiating with British-based company, BC Partners, over potentially selling the club, as well as considering taking a loan from Bain Capital.
BC
Partners
are hoping to take over from Sunning for €750 million on
Inter
whereas Nerazzurri’s majority shareholders want €1 billion.
BC
Partners
would guarantee an additional investment in the club that could help them to cease their debts.
Sunning’s
other option is taking a loan from the American-based company,
Bain
Capital
, which could refinance the club’s debts which total no less than €400 million. A loan of €200 million could help the Milanese club through to the end of the season and allow them to meet their various financial deadlines.
