The Slovakian defender plays an important role in Inter's defense.
Former Milan defender Francesco Colonnese believes that Milan Skriniar is Inter's best defender.
Tottenham made a € 35m bid for Skriniar last summer and he was close to leaving the club last summer. He has performed very well so far and in the match against Lazio, he once again showed with brilliance why he has a strong position in Conte's defensive line. Now Colonnese praised the Slovak star and called him the best defender in Milan.
“Skriniar is the player who best interprets the nature of a defender,”
Colonnese told Top Calcio 24.
“He is determined, he has a tough game face, he is hard but fair.
“Stefan de Vrij and Alessandro Bastoni are also very strong, and Alessandro has time on his side.
“But I think Skriniar is the one who will become the strongest of all.”
With his good defensive performance, Skriniar has become one of the key players of Nerazzurri this season.
