Stankovic: Inter’s fate is in their own hands

Former Nerazzurri star comments on the team’s situation.

The two teams are set to face each other in a crucial match in Sunday’s Derby della Madonnina.

Inter former star,

Dejan Stankovic

believes they have an advantage in Derby di Milano.

In an interview with

Gazzetta dello Sport

, the Serbian said:

“Inter’s fate is in their own hands.

“Not being in Europe will be in advantage.”

Christian Eriksen

did not have a good start at Inter and were so close to leave the club, but he has proven himself in recent matches with his good performances and is expected to feature in the clash against Milan.

“So far Eriksen has not had much room to express himself, but he is a real player,”

Stankovic said.

“He can make the difference, he has two wonderful feet.”

Antonio Conte

:

“We faced each other several times as players, we have often spoken.

“Conte is a tough guy, who leaves nothing to chance, I like him.”
