Parma manager Roberto D’Aversa does not believe in good luck or bad luck and highlights the importance of determination and says his side ‘can’t be afraid to play a football game’.
are stilling sitting 19th in the Serie A table after losing 2-1 againstHellas Verona
“It was important to take home a positive result, our position in the table does not give us serenity as we saw with their first goal.
“It was too easy for them to score and we must reflect on that. We must do everything to take home good results and we are not doing it, we must face this situation.”
“I don’t believe in good and bad luck, I think determination counts. I don’t care about what happened with the previous coach, we must find the same spirit we had had over the last two seasons.
“We are doing too many mistakes, we can’t be afraid to play a football game,"
the coach continued
“It’s not about commitment, I can’t blame my players for that. It’s not easy to transmit determination to players who don’t know Serie A and the language, there are other players who must transmit those values we used to have.”
“We are struggling to score goals, but I can’t blame the strikers, it’s something that depends on the whole team.
