According to Kicker outlet reports, Luca Netz has purportedly chosen to remain at Hertha BSC instead of finishing paperwork for Bayern Munich.

Hertha BSC starlet Luca Netz has diverted down interest from the Bavarian side to remain at the German capital club.

According to the report, the 17-year-old left-back, who is right now on a youth agreement that terminates this late spring, is set to sign another arrangement until 2023, when he turns 18 years of age, on May 15.

Netz has proved himself worthy of joining Hertha's senior squad this season, presenting Die Alte Dame's shirt seven times in

Bundesliga

 until now.

The youngster scored the equalizer in Hertha's 1-1 stalemate against Stuttgart on Saturday; after the match, the young defender said he

"wants to become a regular starter, maybe already this season."
