The Red Devils boss hailed the former Paris Saint-Germain star ahead of their clash with West Brom.

Manchester United

manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, praised

Edinson Cavani

ahead of his 34th birthday claiming that the Uruguayan looks younger than his actual age.

Cavani, who arrived at Old Trafford in October, to become one of Solskjaer’s front-line favorites alongside

Marcus Rashford

Anthony Martial

, and

Mason Greenwood

, is expected to join the team for their Sunday clash with

West Brom

Solskjaer hailing the player’s youth-like energy, said:

“He looks like he's 24!”

"He’s been such a great addition to the squad and to the culture in the group, showing that desire and determination and meticulousness with his attention to detail at his age.”

"He has been very good for us.”

Paris Saint-Germain

all-time top scorer currently has seven goals out of his 23 appearances with the Red Devils as he continues to play a key-role in Solskjaer’s squad.

Among other Man-Utd stars, who also thrived back in their days at Old Trafford in their thirties, were

Zlatan Ibrahimović

, Henrik Larsson, and Edwin van der Sar.

All three players had praiseworthy achievements during their time with the

Premier League

side, but Van der Sar is considered to be the best of all for being able to win four league and one Champions League title during his six-year spell in England.

Another personal achievement for the Dutch stopper has been his 14 consecutive clean sheets record, which remains unbroken up to this day.
