Maggiore’s reasons to be happy for his goal against Milan

Spezia midfielder Giulio Maggiore, who scored the opener against Serie A leaders Milan, has revealed that he is a firm fan of Inter.

suffered a 2-0 defeat at the hands of newly-promoted

Spezia

at the Stadio Alberto Picco last night.

“We suffered little, we obtained a result that will make us work peacefully this week,”

Maggiore told DAZN

.

“[Vincenzo] Italiano is a hammer, he keeps us concentrated during training sessions and the results can be seen.

“I can’t imagine what would have happened with our fans in the stadium.”

Inter

have the chance to claim the top spot in Serie A table if they beat Lazio this evening and Maggiore will be happier if this happens.

“I was an Inter fan and I am still a sympathizer of the Nerazzurri, I remember the treble well,”

he revealed

“It’s a very important win for us, let’s see if it will be important for Inter too.”
