The Bundesliga giants’ boss talked about the future of Musiala with Bayern as he played downthe chances of him coaching Germany.
manager, Hansi Flick, is hopeful thatJamal Musiala
will extend his stay at Allianz Arena as he refused to be drawn to the player’s international drama withEngland
When asked about Musiala’s possible departure for another club, Flick told
“Why should he go anywhere else? He can develop here, and he has the support and appreciation of the club, the coaching team and the other players. "
Later avoiding the talks about whether the player would choose to represent Germany or England, he added:
“I spoke to Jamal and told him that he would have to decide it all by himself. He has to take responsibility for his future himself."
The German Football Association (DFB) believe that Musiala will choose to represent Germany with national team director, Oliver Bierhoff, telling
"We had a very good and open conversation, we are convinced that he will be a national team player, but it's a very personal decision.”
According to Germany coach, Joachim Low, he would like to have Musiala on his squad, but with the rumors of Flick replacing him starting to emerge this decision will remain uncertain.
Still Flick insisting that he is enjoying his time with Bayern Munich, said:
"I know what it means to work at FC Bayern and I see no reason to think about anything else. I have absolutely no reason to change anything at the moment."
"He [Low] is still doing a great job. I remember from my time how everyone raved about the way we played football when we became world champions [in 2014]. That was a development, which he was in charge of."
Musiala currently has 25 appearances with Bayern Munich in which he has scored three goals.
