"I have unfinished business at Parma" - Pelle
Shandong Luneng player, Graziano Pellé has announced that Parma influenced him with their "desire". "We can’t feel sorry for ourselves".
Former Italy international has returned to Verona after playing for Feyenoord, Southampton, and
Shandong Luneng.
“I kept myself ready, I worked a lot after the championship,”
Pellè remarked at a press conference.
“I hope to do well, without any excuses.
“China was the best choice I could have made, a professional gives his best wherever he is and I had the maturity to respect a League below European standards.
“The training sessions were intense, I had [Felix] Magath as coach, a kind of [Zdenek] Zeman, and I always gave my all.”
Parma are standing 19th in Serie A and Pellè promised to try harder to "turn things around".
“I’m positive for the season, the position is difficult, but we don’t have to feel sorry for ourselves,”
he added.
“We will try to turn things around and I’m a guy who likes pressure.”
“I had several calls to resume after China, but Parma showed me more desire, not need.
“I had unfinished business here and I’m proud, I think I have to give more to this place.”
