Monchi denies rumors regarding Sevilla’s interest in Isco

Sevilla director of football claims the club has no interest in Los Blancos midfielder.

Real Madrid

plans to sell some of their high-paying players next summer and improve the club's financial situation.

Isco

has almost become a mere bench player this season and has no place in

Zinedine Zidane

's plans.

The player seems to be spending his last months at Santiago Bernabéu and is on the verge of leaving the team.

There are many rumors and speculations about Isco, and some sources have reported that

Sevilla

are interested in the Spanish playmaker. Isco experienced good days at Real under

Julen Lopetegui

and is not reluctant to play for the coach in Sevilla.

Sevilla director of football,

Monchi

has denied the rumors, saying:

"The conversation lasted approximately 15 or 20 seconds. It is news that has come out, he asked me and I said no, that was all the interest in Isco.

"We do not live in a basement and read things, but I talk to the president or vice-president on a day-to-day basis, and there are things that jump out and the president asks me if that is true and I say 'Yes, yes, I have not told you', but it is not the case with Isco.

"It is a rumor, a logical rumor, because he wants to leave and here is a coach with who he played at a high level, but there is absolutely nothing, not a movement."
