Rondon eager to leave China and return to Russia

Rondon is linked with a move back to Russia but this time for CSKA Moscow.

Salomon Rondon

, former West Brom striker was a

Zenit

player before arriving at the Premier League. He is now a player of the Chinese side,

Dalian Pro

, and he has scored 14 goals in 27 games so far for them however the new season is yet to start until April.

Reports suggest that the experienced striker is set to return to Russia and play for

CSKA Moscow

. The player previously spent three seasons of his career in Zenit before joining Premier League side. Metaratings.ru claim that they have inside knowledge that the player is eager to go to Russia but for a salary, half than what he used to earn last time he was in Russia.

Rondon is earning good money in China but the departure of Rafa Benitez who was the main reason he went there might make him leave China. West Brom attempted to sign a couple of players during the winter transfer window but no attempt was made for Rondon while the transfer window is now closed. There are only a few countries in Europe which the transfer window is still open including Russia. Rondon’s options are short if he is eager to leave.
