A few days ago, the Bournemouth board fired Jason Tindall and temporarily appointed Woodgate as the team's head coach.

Harry Redknapp, who has coached Bournemouth for nine years, attended the Cherries training camp on Monday at Jonathan Woodgate's request. Woodgate played for Tottenham under Redknapp from 2008 to 2011.

Jonathan Woodgate played under me at Spurs and he's a great lad,

" Redknapp told Sky Sports News. "

He's asked me to come in for a few days and watch them train. Just to be around the place for a few days

I have spoken to Harry quite a bit,

" Woodgate said at a press conference on Monday.

"He gives that advice

and has been there and done it. He is a really good guy, who I know I can trust.

Redknapp has been away from the football world since 2017, after leaving Birmingham, and has not coached any team.
