Sergej Milinkovic-Savic speaks of his Real Madrid "dream"

Lazio midfielder, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic has admitted playing for Real Madrid is his future "dream".

The 25-year-old has proved that he is one of the best midfielders in Serie A, after his 2015 transfer from Belgian team, Genk, with 179 league matches in five and a half seasons.

Zinedine Zidane‘s team are rumored to be one of the teams eyeing his performance in Rome, with the Serbian international possibly open to transfer.

“In the Champions League we have a hard game ahead against Bayern,”

he announced.

“The truth is that I wanted to play in Madrid against Real and to exchange shirts.

“I have dreamt of playing for Real Madrid since I was a child. This is the greatest goal of my career and I will do everything possible to achieve it.”

Milinkovic-Savic’s remarks will draw Real Madrid’s attention to him, however,

Lazio

will do their best to keep their midfielder, whose current deal ends in 2024.

Lazio

could ask for €85m to even think about the transfer, but Zidane’s financial power is limited due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and the potential of missing out on silverware this season.
