Bielsa confirms Rodrigo and Poveda's inability to play for a while

Leeds have many players sidelined, but Berardi is going to be back to training soon.

's inability to play in the pitch for a period of time due to injury.

Poveda picked an injury during the match for U23s and Rodrigo having a muscle strain at the moment. Bielsa said:

"Rodrigo fell and his legs separated and caused an elongation more than usual and this caused the injury.

"I saw a picture of the position both of his feet ended up in and the difference between them was different to what we would expect."

Leeds have many players sidelined such as

Robin Koch


Diego Llorente

as Koch must spend 3 months recovering after a knee injury and Llorente suffering from muscle strains having made only 2 appearances for the club.

Although, the coach gave a much-needed news to Leeds fans by confirming that

Gaetano Berardi

returns to training in the next week. he said:

"He's going to be returning to training on Monday with the team, and as he gains fitness he will start being incorporated with the under-23s,"

He was said to be out of the pitch for 3 months after having his Knee Ligaments damaged at the end of the last season.
