Real Madrid owned Takefusa Kubo joins Getafe on loan

A remarkable deal in last month’s transfer window involved three La Liga clubs for the Japan international.

The 19-year-old

Takefusa Kubo

signed a loan contract with

Getafe

for the rest of the season after his struggle for a first-team prominence at

Villarreal

failed to come about. The Player’s owners

Real Madrid

were on the lookout for possible destinations in Spain’s top-flight.

The Japan international has appeared in four games for his new side already, spending 254 minutes on the field. On Villarreal, however, he featured in 16 matches which saw him 292 minutes on the pitch for more than four months.

Kubo is a prolific young player in football and he pulled off an impressive display on his debut for Real Mallorca. The loanee has now joined a new side away from Los Blancos.
