Juventus leave January transfer plans for the summer

Wed 03 February 2021 | 13:37

Calciomercato revealed the Serie A side's summer transfer plans following Sami Khedira’s last minute exit from the team.

Though

Juventus

parted ways with

Sami Khedira

after not featuring the Germany international in the first-half of the Serie A campaign, they are yet to decide on a new replacement.

According to

Calciomercato

, Juve’s reluctance to sign any new midfielders has been due to their summer plans to bring in

Paul Pogba

.

The Frenchman has only 16 months left to his contract with

Manchester United

and his former club hope the player would be available for a return to Turin.

If Pogba chooses to extend his stay at Old Trafford, the Bianconeri will aim to sign

Lyon

’s

Houssem Aouar

.

Juventus have already informed Houssem’s agent about their interest in the player, despite Pogba’s deal being less costly since he is entering his final year with the Red Devils.
