Alaves signs Pellistri with a loan deal

Facundo Pellistri

has joined Deportivo Alaves with a loan deal for the rest of the season.

Pellistri joined the Red Devils in the summer, but he didn’t get the chance to play for the first team, and the club chose to send him away on a loan contract to give him a chance to play and gain the experience.

Solskjaer sees a bright future for the young talent at Old Trafford, but he thinks that; he needs more experience before joining the first team. He has played for the club’s U23 in recent months and now has the chance to gain more experience in La Liga.

“Our scouts have followed Facundo for a long time and we believe that he will be a real talent for the long term,"

Solskjaer told Man Utd's official website after Pellistri's move to La Liga was confirmed.

“Whilst we understand it will take time for him to adapt to the English game, he is capable of having an impact with his pace and ability to beat his opponent.

"We wish Facundo all the best for his spell with Alaves in Spain, and look forward to following his progress."

Deportivo Alaves stands in the 18th place in the La Liga table, and Pellistri will be a part of their battle for staying in the Spain’s first division.
