“I don’t see Fabio Quagliarella’s future without the Sampdoria jersey on his back. He has been very important for us over these years, did great things with Samp and I hope he can keep going with us,” the 63-year-old director told Sky Sport Italia.
Keita Balde Diao
is a loanee from Monaco and has been on a hot run so far, but is there a clause to purchase?
“He is on loan, we haven’t discussed it yet, because we need to know what our future is. It’s true we are happy with our current position in the table, but there have also been remarkable surprises and turnarounds lately, so we must take nothing for granted.”

“In recent years, Sampdoria have always targeted young players who we can sell on for a profit. In the current scenario, it’s not so easy to make profit, so we must try to get revenue in different ways and above all have a team that can maintain itsSerie A
“We can do that by bringing in players who are no longer than young, but have the experience and quality to help our younger elements to mature.”
