Alaves plan a loan-move for Man-Utd’s Pellistri
The Red Devils are ready to let their player move on a loan to help him gain more experience as a footballer.
According to some reports,
Manchester Unitedhave opened the negotiations over
Facundo Pellistri’s loan-move to
Deportivo Alaves.
The Uruguayan has been in talks with both Alaves and
Club Brugge, but despite Brugge’s offer being more tempting he may favour Spain over a move to Belgium.
Pellistri, who joined the Red Devils for €10 million (£9m/$12m) coming from
Penarol, had always dreamt of playing in
La Liga, some sources say.
While Ole Gunnar Solskjaer continues to be one of the teenager’s big admireres, there has been little opportunity given to Pellistri on the pitch.
"There have been talks and quite a few clubs interested in Facundo to go out on loan and that’s maybe something we’ll let him do now he’s had a few games in the reserves and we want him to have regular football at a high level,"
Solskjaer confirmed.
Though Pellistri had only two appearances with the first-team, he still had the chance to make eight appearances with the U23s squad and score three goals alongside giving one assist.
With
Amad Diallo’s arrival at Old Trafford, the club believes the best decision for Pellistri at the moment would be his loan-move to another squad.
