“Racist? Zlatan’s the last person I'd think of as racist” – Pogba

According to the France international, Zlatan Ibrahimović would never abuse anyone racially.

Paul Pogba

,

Manchester United

midfielder, backed

Zlatan Ibrahimović

, insisting that the 39-year-old is "the last person I'd think of as racist" following his issues with

Romelu Lukaku

.

Ibrahimovic and Lukaku exchanged insults in an argument during the Coppa Italia derby 2-1 victory over

Milan

on Tuesday, and their furious row went on after the half-time was ended.

Ibrahimovic, who was dismissed for a second bookable offence, is accused of telling Lukaku to "Go do your voodoo s***, you little donkey."

Ibra denied all the accusations of abusing the Belgium international racially, who pulled the teams level before Christian Eriksen led his side to a victory with his late winner.

He tweeted: "

In ZLATAN's world there is no place for RACISM. We are all the same race – we are all equal!! We are all PLAYERS some better then [sic] others."

Pogba, who was Lukaku’s teammate at Manchester United, insisted that Ibrahimovic would not disrespect anyone’s race.

"

Zlatan... racist? He loves me too much so he's the last person I'd think of as racist! Come on, don't joke with that one!

" He posted on Twitter.
