The German boss took over Chelsea’s management position following the sacking of Frank Lampard.
, formerParis Saint-Germain
, could be planning a move for one of his ex-players,Marquinhos
, after taking over the coaching position withChelsea
. Though the German boss will not be able to plan out a move in the current transfer market, it is expected that he will be investing in summer’s transfer season.
“Chelsea pursued [Marquinhos] heavily in 2015 and have continued to track him in case he ever became available.”
“A deal would seem difficult, given he is one of PSG’s most influential players and has previously stated he could stay for the rest of his career, but Tuchel’s use of him took the player to very high levels.”
During Tuchel’s time as PSG’s manager, Marquinhos developed to become one of the Parisians most valuable assets and though the chances of his departure are very little, Chelsea and Tuchel are not ready to give up on their fight for the 26-year-old yet.
