West Ham plays against Arsenal and Tottenham to ensure they get Odsonne Edouard, who netted 74 goals in 151 matches for Celtic.

Sending Sebastien Haller to Ajax has left West Ham United light up front, with Celtic’s Odsonne

targeted as a potential replacement.

The French attacker moved in Celtic Park from PSG on loan in August of 2017.

, who became the Scottish Premiership’s top scorer last season as Celtic got their 9th back-to-back title, has scored many goals and added awards to his collection in past years but is now ready to take the next step in his profession.

18 month are left from the 23-year-old's contract and Celtic would prefer to take cash than risk losing him on a free transfer.

There have been few expensive signings so far in the January transfer window, as clubs continue to adjust to the effects of coronavirus, but

wouldn’t come cheap.

The reported fee is £35million, but

is waiting to join a bigger team, while rivals like Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are interested.

After Haller, West Ham lack outright attackers. Michail Antonio has called the position his own under Moyes, but 18-year-old Mipo Odubeko is an inexperienced player.

West Ham have also been eyeing RB Leipzig’s Patson Daka, Bordeaux’s Josh Maja and Sevilla’s Youssef En-Nesyri recently.
