Lorenzo Pirola set to extend loan at Monza on loan the rest of the campaign after an agreement was reached to extend his current deal.
In October last year, the Inter youngster went to Serie B to play for Monza. His reason for this transfer was to find more minutes to play and also to gain enough experience. Although he has only played in one game so far.
Pirola has not been successful in Serie B and could not find a way to the starting line-up so it was decided to loan him to Pescara. But today FCInternews.it reported that Gabriele Paletta is injured and Monza is looking to keep his young defender.
With Paletta out for an indefinite period, Monza are light on numbers at defensive line and have successfully persuaded both Inter and Pirola to allow him to remain at the club.
Former AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi owns Monza. They are in fifth place in Serie B and hope to advance to Serie A.
