“We spoke about this as payback month for us and it has started well with this game being the first one” the 43-year-old said.

Veljko Paunovic

,

Reading F. C.

manager gave credit to his team and players for the 3-0 victory gained at Madejski Stadium against

Coventry

.

Coventry had beaten Reading back in October with a 3-2, and Paunovic calls this match a "payback".

Lucas Joao

,

Andy Rinomhota

, and

John swift

each scored once at this match.

The 43-year-old manager said:

“We spoke about this as payback month for us and it has started well with this game being the first one.

“Especially as it was Coventry who were the ones who ended our winning and successful streak that we had at the beginning of the season – that ended our honeymoon.

“So, yes, I’m very happy with this. But I’m more happy because of the way we played and the way that we executed. That was brilliant today.

“Huge credit to the team, huge credit to the players, for the efforts that they put in. It was a very good performance.

He added that he was not satisfied with the way that the match started and the opportunities that were missed, but also praised the fact that

Rafael

did his job as a goalkeeper in the best way.

Mark Robins

, Coventry manager said that Reading was a strong team to play against.

He then said that the team gave them the opportunities and that "has to stop".

He said:

"we kept giving Reading opportunities. We also had chances ourselves but we didn’t take them. And we can’t really let that happen again over the second half of the season.

“We keep saying the same things but we’ve just got to be more clinical. When you’re playing against better opposition, we have got to be better ourselves. That’s where we’re at."

He added that the team must work for better results. He mentioned that the League is "unforgiving".
