Eder Sarabia, Quique Setien’s assistant at Barcelona, was introduced as the new manager of Andorra, a club led by Gerrard Pique, to the Media on Tuesday.
Sarabia
will be in the dugout in the game against
Espanyol B
on Sunday and in comments carried by Marca, he talked about
Quique Setien
, his interactions with some of the
Barcelonaplayers during his spell at the club.
Sarabia is considered to be a fiery, short-tempered character who has no fear of speaking his mind, so much so that Setien once cautioned the Barcelona players before they encountered him.
Sarabia insisted that any problems he might have had with Barcelona players were highly exaggerated.
“A person like Gerard, who’s been in that same dressing room, choosing me as his coach should silence some rumors about things that were thought to have happened or were misinterpreted,”
he said
.
“There are moments in games where there is tension, and there were discussions at the half-time break in the dressing room at Vigo, where what happened happened.
“But these things don’t go anywhere. There’s no problem. I always keep the good and I’m grateful for what I experienced, nobody can take away that I trained those players.”
