Odegaard wants to spend the rest of the season on loan with another team.
The Marca newspaper claims thatReal Madrid
midfielder Martin Odegaard intends to leave the club in the winter transfer window.
The Norwegian star has not played in all of the club's last ten games and is not on the club's squad list for the Copa del Rey against Alcoyano. After the defeat to Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League, Odegaard sat on the bench, and Toni Kroos, Luka Modric, and Casemiro played as Zidane's key players in the midfield.
Therefore, Odegaard is looking to leave Real Madrid and join another club on loan. He was on the pitch from the start in the league's first two games against Real Sociedad and Real Betis but was sidelined for some time due to injuries. However, he was fully ready to play in Real Madrid's last seven games, but he did not play even for a minute.
He was the only player to join Real Madrid in the summer and was expected to play more this season, but now it looks like he intends to leave the Whites.
