was quickly linked with a reunion to play under the Argentinian coach, but
Tottenham’s demands may cause problems for the potential move.
Alli has fallen well down the pecking order under manager
Jose Mourinho
with the midfielder playing just 74 minutes of Premier League football this season.
“The question is if I let Dele go without getting a player in exchange and I’m not going to answer that,"
Mourinho said
.
“It’s not a question that I am comfortable to answer. Of course, I would know how to answer. But I am not ready to answer. I am not ready to make public my vision of the situation.”
Speculation linking Alli with
PSGhas only intensified following the arrival of former Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino at the Parc des Princes.
Alli is also interested in the move to the French capital but Spurs chairman Daniel Levy can cause complications to the potential switch.
Levy has a reputation for being a tough negotiator and he has informed the French side that he will offer no discount despite the player's lack of minutes under Mourinho.
The French club are also not interested in a loan without an option to buy, which could make any move for Alli difficult amid Financial Fair Play concerns.
