Chelsea player talks about playing in stadiums without supporters.

Chelsea

star says that he doesn’t like attention and he is used to playing without supporters.

Christian Pulisic

has been an important player for the Blues since his arrival but he has experienced some injuries that effected his performance at some points. The United States international has scored 13 goals and assisted 10 in 49 appearances for the Blues.

Pulisic says that although it is less enjoyable but the players must adapt to the absence of the fans in the stadiums.

Here is what he told GO Magazine about playing in absence of the supporters:

"It’s obviously changed a lot of things.

"It’s not as enjoyable to play with no fans. But in a way, I like it, because I don’t really like attention and all that stuff.

"And that’s also when I probably have grown the most as a player.”

Pulisic is an important player to his national team having played in 34 international matches for the United States national team and he is expected to be a part of USMNT’s future. But the young star embraces the pressure saying that the pressure could push him forward.

“Going into a national-team game, I never thought that I need to perform because everyone is expecting me to be the best player.

“I would put pressure on myself because I wanted to do well. I wanted to be that player that everyone wanted me to be.”
