David Alaba’s father on the player’s Real Madrid links

The Austrian footballer has been heavily linked with a move to Los Blancos as he approaches the last remaining months of his contract.

after it was reported that the player is ready for a new start following his 12 years long career at Allianz Arena.




Manchester United

have also shown interest in the 28-year-old, the chances of his move to the La Liga giants are higher. Still Alaba’s agent, Pini Zahavi, revealed that the player would only join the Whites if they made him the highest earning footballer on the team.

Alaba’s father talked to

Sport 1

about his son’s future, saying:

"A decision has not yet been made and David has not yet signed with Real. Besides Real, there are other clubs that are interested in him.”

"For him what counts is that he wants to concentrate fully on Bayern and his performance."  

Though his exit rumors continue to surface, Bayern manger,

Hansi Flick

still hopes the player would extend his stay with the Bundesliga side.

“He is very important to us, on and off the pitch. He is very popular and supports young players,"
