Tottenham Hotspurs are facing competition with Chelsea in signing a contract with Beijing Guoan centre-back Kim Min-jae.
According to the reports,
Tottenhamboss
Jose Mourinho
is eyeing the South Korea international
Kim Min-jae
to strengthen his defence and ready to snap the “monster” up. The Spurs manager has been interested in the 24-year-old since the summer expecting to link
Son Heung-min
up with his team-mate.
Mourinho’s side is entering a competition over signing the defender, since
Chelseahave expressed their interest as well. The Spurs are trying their best to avoid what happened in 2013 when Chelsea usurped their offer to make a deal with Willian.
Due to his rich vein of form, Kim is catching the eye of many big clubs and Mourinho is hoping Son can negotiate with Kim to join Tottenham rather than Chelsea.
The 24-year-old has met the back of the net three times in 30 matches he appeared on national duty.
