Right around that time the Hibs will play the Betfred Cup final and Gogic hopes that his team’s success in that match will mark a perfect start for his start of the new year. In a post-match interview after his team’s 2-0 win over the Killie, Gogic has spoken about his hopes for a perfect 2021 start.
“My missus is pregnant and we’re expecting a baby soon. So that goal and celebration was for her. We’re having a girl. It’s our second and we already have a boy so we’re both happy!
“It’s something exciting for us look forward to at the end of February.
“It’s a big week for us with the semi-final, we need to win that. We’ve been there before and we want to take the next step this time and get to the final – and then the baby will be here.
“I’ve got it all planned out! I just hope it all goes like that.”
Asked about his team’s performance against Kilmarnock, Gogic responded:
“This win was important as we had a bit of a downfall with the defeats against Ross County and Livingston.
“So, it was good to get the three points and keep a clean sheet to get back to winning ways.”
