Abby Dahlkemper is the third USWNT player to join Manchester City after Sam Mewis and Rose Lavelle.

The 27-year-old defender followed in the footsteps of compatriots
and joined the Women’s Super League Club.

Dahlkemper, who will take the No.13 shirt for her new club, said

“Sam and Rose have been saying nothing but brilliant things about the club and hearing them speak so highly about the facilities, the staff and the players as well as their experience of a new technical and tactical challenge is something that was really appealing to me.
“I just can’t wait to get over and help the team in whatever way I can and be successful on the field.”
She has made 62 appearances for her country and has won two SheBelieves Cups, the Concacaf Women’s Championship, and the World Cup.
