. The 22 years old left Aston Villa as a free agent and didn’t join any side until the winter transfer window. Sky Bet Championship side, Sheffield Wednesday announced the signing as the first arrival during the January transfer window.
Green was considered a high potential winger and played 48 times for Villa in which he scored twice. He was a graduate from Aston Villa’s academy and spent some time on loan at various clubs such as Portsmouth, Preston, and Charlton.
The length of his contract with Sheffield Wednesday has not been declared. Wednesday currently sit 21st in the Championship table and Neil Thompson is the permanent caretaker after they sacked Tony Pulis last month. The next two match of the South Yorkshire club against Coventry and Wycombe have been postponed because of a new outbreak of Covid-19 in English football.
