Emily Condon

, Adelaide United’s star is delighted with the goal she scored as it won the game for them. Her header in the 74th minute hit the back of the

Perth Glory

net. She made the match 2-1 while 5 days ago she scored the winner from the penalty spot against Glory.

“I’m so thankful we got that winner,”

Condon told FOX Sports. “

I missed that sitter in the first half so I had to try and redeem myself, which I did.

“I’m just really happy with the overall team performance and just really happen to get the win.”

Condon is also thankful for the hard effort by American forward, Mallory Weber who sent a perfect cross to the back post.

“That was a pretty good ball,”

she added.

“It was too my head, on a platter, so all I had to do was make the connection and it went in.”

“I am used to the ball at my feet but, you know, if it’s on a platter, then the head can get it in.”
