Neil Lennon and thirteen Celtic players have been quarantined.
chief executive Peter Lawwell has claimed that last week's trip to Dubai was a clear mistake after Christopher Jullien's Covid-19 test was positive.
After Jullien tested positive, Neil Lennon and 13 Celtic players who were in contact with Jullien during a trip to Dubai quarantined themselves. The club initially defended its decision to travel to the Middle East, but Lawwell now says the club's move was wrong.
"On reflection, looking back and looking with hindsight and looking at the outcome of the trip, clearly it was a mistake and for that I profoundly apologise to our supporters,"
Lawwell told Celtic's official website.
"This horrific pandemic has affected the whole of society. It's affected people here in Scotland, it's affected our supporters, it's affected our football and it's affected our club - probably our club more than any."
