Rangers legend Ally McCoist has revealed to Steven Gerrard that he will have an "unbelievable" impact on numerous individuals if he drives Rangers to the title.
The Light Blues are on course to stop Celtic from getting their 10th consecutive Scottish Premiership trophy, and Gers fans are getting more and more hyped about it. Gerrard's men are 21 points higher from their traditional adversaries though they have played three games more. It would be the main top-battle for the title at Ibrox stadium since 2011, preceding the club all around reported monetary breakdown from which they arose in Scottish football's base level. Ex-Rangers manager and forward McCoist trusts Gerrard, as the former Liverpool midfielder is in his third season as Gers head coach. “I’m telling you right now he will be thinking he is in the biggest and best job on the planet because he is probably, maybe six weeks away." said the 58-year-old McCoist. “If he didn’t realise, he is hopefully six weeks away from realising the effect that he is going to have on so many people. “And it is going to be unbelievable. “And I hope that Steven reaches that position and I would imagine that even he might be a little bit surprised about the effect he has on so many people if and when he crosses that line.” Follow Sportmob for the latest football news.
