West Ham interested in Real Madrid striker

Mon 11 January 2021 | 16:12

David Moyes should choose between Jovic and Diaz as the Hammers are desperate for a new striker.

Mariano Diaz

, young striker of

Real Madrid

is a target for

West Ham

. The Premier League side who reportedly were interested in another Real Madrid player,

Luka Jovic

are also considering the signing of Mariano Diaz. West Ham United is interested in signing an attacker as they’ve let Sebastian Haller join Ajax.

According to Daily Mail, Mariano Diaz would cost £20m while if they prefer to sing Jovic, they would have to pay £27m for the Serbian international. Both players did not find a place in Zidane’s plans and had only four appearances for Los Blancos so far this season.

Diaz’s contract will be expired in 2023 while Jovic has a contract until 2025. Considering the cost and the situation of their contract, Diaz would be a more realistic option for David Moyes’ side. Zidane also recently claimed that there will be no major signing for the giants of Spain.
