Dortmund winger has not started the current Bundesliga campaign in his best form but says he is eager to regain his form.

’s squad in their 2019-20 campaign as he managed to score 17 Bundesliga goals and represent himself as one of the finest talents in European football. The winger was heavily linked withManchester United
in the summer but Dortmund’s €100 million fee demand for the player blocked the move eventually. This transfer saga seemed to have affected the player’s performance in a bad way but in recent weeks the young star has begun to show his best for Dortmund once again. The 20-year-old scored a goal and assisted another one in his team’s crucial Saturday match againstRB Leipzig
and believes that he is finally getting back to his best form.
"Obviously this season has been very difficult for me personally,"
Sancho told the
Bundesliga's official website
"So I knew when I went away, I just focused on my game and came back raring to go.
"I'm working hard every day in training and on the pitch so I'm just happy to get my goals and assists."
Dortmund interim boss
was asked about Sancho’s current form in a post-match interview.
"It's just small adjustments,"
"We spoke a lot but Jadon was always doing his best in the last weeks and months, but sometimes it's like that.
"Players are not always performing on this level. He knew that. He stayed hungry and we tried to support him as a team. We tried to support him individually. It worked out well in the last three games. He scored three goals, and now three assists also. He's in a good way to get into his best form."
