Ole supports the technical van de Beek

Ole believes the Dutch midfielder can break any defense and that his time will eventually arrive.

Manchester United

signed

Donny van de Beek

during the summer transfer window and they paid £35 million for the Dutch player. From the start people questioned this signing as no one knew where van de Beek can find a place in the line-up.

As expected the former Ajax player didn’t get much playing chance for Manchester United. Ole however always supported the player and said that the time will arrive eventually. Donny played a full 90 minutes against Watford in the FA Cup.

“I think Donny showed again his qualities,” said Solskajer after the match.

“He is very technically clean, makes good decisions.

"What a little flick to play Juan through in the first half. He has that quality to open up tight games so definitely he will benefit from this game as well.”

Many said Manchester United made a mistake by signing the player as it seems like they don’t need him but Ole thinks otherwise.

“There are so many examples of players needing a little bit of time, quality players, we have many examples ourselves and there are other clubs with examples and sometimes it takes time,” said Solskjaer. "I’ve spoken to him and made him aware of how much we rate him."
