The France international was absent in his team’s Saturday match against Watford and is a doubt for Red Devils’ next match.

Manchester United

achieved a 1-0 victory in their Saturday FA Cup match against

Watford

as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer used a heavily rotated squad for the match.

Paul Pogba

, Victor Lindelof, and Luke Shaw were all starters for the Red Devils in their Wednesday defeat against Manchester City in the Carabao cup. However, no player of the trio was present in Solskjaer’s squad for the Saturday game and the team's manager confirmed that all three of them were injured.

"They’re injured,"

said Solskjaer who used new figures in his squad to replace the injured players.

Donny Van de Beek was one of the players who got the chance to play for the Red Devils on Saturday. Solskjaer was asked about the Dutch midfielder and his future at the club.

"I think Donny showed again his qualities, his pace, he is very technically clean,

"One little flick to play Juan [Mata] through and he’s got that quality to open up tight games. He will benefit from this game as well."
