Fri 08 January 2021 | 14:42

The Rossoneri are looking to bounce back from the defeat to Juventus during the week but will still not have their key players due to injury.

The Rossoneri lost to Juventus after a long time to suffer their first defeat of the season. Milan will face Torino at the San Siro, Torino are 17th in the table but have recently had good results with former AC Milan coach

Marco Giampaolo

.

"

In a complicated season there are situations that can be there,

" Pioli said at a press conference.

"We have some difficulties but it's useless to waste energy on things we can't control

.

"We must look for solutions. The team are doing well and we must continue tomorrow night."

Torino are 17th in the table but have not lost in their last four games.

"

They had difficulties at the start but it's normal when a coach arrives with new concepts,

" Pioli said.

"Now, they are going through a positive moment, they have conviction and are to be respected

."

Milan suffered their first defeat of the season in Turin against Juventus.

"[

I handled the defeat] in the same way as we managed the wins,

" Pioli continued. "

There was no need for my intervention, to raise the morale of the players or Pioli's

.

"They know they played a fair game and have to think about the next ones. There's awareness of our qualities and belief in our means."

Pioli does not expect

Ismael Bennacer

and

Alexis Saelemaekers

to play against Torino.

"In our forecasts and those of the staff, they return against Cagliari. They are doing well, but they haven't forced anything."

Zlatan

will also miss the match against Torino due to injury.

"He has done his programme, he has done some work, but I don't think he will be available tomorrow.

"We will have to grit our teeth, if two more injuries were to be added, we would have many absentees.

"We must resist, we must do well. If there were seven, eight, nine players missing, it would be normal to face difficulty. But the players will soon return and we can increase the rotations."

Torino are undefeated in the last four games and have climbed out of the relegation zone.

"We have the qualities to do well, our opponents will have great motivation but so do we."
