Eden Hazard has mentioned the one player from an earlier time whom he couldn't imagine anything better than to meet and talk with, uncovering his profound respect for his exhibitions

The Real Madrid and Belgium star named ex-midfield star

Juan Roman Riquelme

as the player he has great admiration between past generation players.

Los Blancos news has been overwhelmed by the 30-year-old's injury issues since his move from Chelsea in 2019, yet he is currently optimistic of displaying his aptitude on the pitch.

Riquelme is generally inseparable from Argentina's famed Boca Juniors – with whom he delighted in two gigantically fruitful runs – while he also played for Barcelona and Villarreal in Spain.

"If I hadn't been around Zidane and Thierry Henry (who have both coached the player), I would have mentioned them. But a player that I have never met would take me to Riquelme. I watched all of his videos when I was younger. Yes, I would like to meet him on the pitch or just talk with him. It would be great." said the Belgian

Riquelme went through only one season at the Blaugrana yet tried to show his best performance under Louis van Gaal, who stationed him as a winger instead of his typical number ten position.

After leaving the Catalans, he burned through three-and-a-half seasons at the Yellow Submarine, whom he helped to reach the

Champions League

's semi-finals in 2006.

Riquelme presented Albiselte's shirt 51 times and scored 17 goals, and won ten trophies with Buenos Aires' Boca Juniors.
