Nice suffered a 2-0 defeat against Brest as Saliba played against Brest.

Saliba

who signed for

Arsenal

back in 2019, has joined

Nice

on a short-term loan deal and was directly introduced in the starting line-up. Saliba didn’t even play once for Arteta’s side as they played a considerably high amount of money on the 19 years old player. Nice suffered a 2-0 defeat as Saliba played his first game for Nice.

Nice manager, Adrian Ursea has been asked to give his opinion about William Saliba’s debut for the French side.

“Very interesting,”

he said of Saliba’s maiden outing.

“When you have a young player of his age – almost 20 years old – who has just arrived into a new squad and who shows such personality in the middle of a defence that he has known for one day, I think it’s very encouraging for what is to come.”

Arsenal fans are a bit confused about what happened behind the scene that made Arteta become so serious in the way he treated the young French defender.
