Eric Garcia has completed his negotiations with the Spanish Giants and is able to make his move to Camp Nou this month.

Manchester City

offered a contract renewal to

Eric Garcia

in August but the player rejected the offer as he was approached by

Barcelona

for a potential transfer. In an interview with

The Sun

back in August, Guardiola clarified the player’s situation.

“Garcia told us that he doesn’t want to extend his contract with Manchester City, so he has one more year. We wanted it but he doesn’t want to extend. I imagine he wants to play in another place.”

The 19-year-old’s contract at Etihad will expire at the end of the season and he is allowed to negotiate with other clubs for a pre-contract this month. According to

The Sun

, the Spanish defender has agreed personal terms with the Catalans over a five-year deal and can complete his move back to Barcelona next month. However, it is unlikely that the transfer would happen in the January transfer window as Barcelona are keen to sign the player as a free agent next summer.
