Woodward earns the most among Premier League directors

According to the club's annual financial reports, Woodward earned £3.09m during the 2019-20 campaign.

football club earned £3.09m in 2019-20. According to the club’s annual financial reports, he gets paid more than any other director in the Premier League.

His salary, however, was down from £3.16m the year before but still, no one gets paid more than him in this role. Tottenham’s president, Daniel Levy is the second on the list as he earned  £2.96m at Spurs last season. He got £7m the previous year. Manchester City do not announce the reports. Manchester United’s board of directors including, former manager, Sir Alex Ferguson and the former president, David Gill, and members of the Glazer family earned a total of £6.78m

The club’s overall wage bill fell from £287.4m to £242.5m last season. Since the arrival of the Norwegian manager,

, the Red Devils changed their financial policies as they did not offer high salaries to stars anymore and made their expenditures more reasonable.
